Well it's been nearly 7 months now mum. Just about survived your 6 month anniversary, which fell on Richard's birthday so that provided a bit of a distraction. Then we just had our first mothers day without you. I worked all day so didn't let myself think about it too much, although every now and then my eyes would prick with tears over the stupidest of things. I have an interview next week mum, for a job with MNDA. It is for a Care Services Advisor, and would mean I would spend my working life making contact and visiting newly diagnosed people with MND, and making sure that they are getting all the support and benefits etc that they are entitled to. Feels like this is the job that was made for me and would give me the opportunity to really play my part for MNDA. I hope you would be proud of me, regardless of whether I actually get the job or not. We are all continuing your fight in one way or another xxx

Mum you were amazing 24/7/365 always had an answer for me and helped me through everything, even when you were ill you were still more worried about us and i'll never forget how brave you were xxx
